We begin our journey from Kathmandu, a bustling town that is rich in spiritual heritage. On the first evening, we will get to witness the mesmerising and vibrant Pashupati Aarati, which is done every evening. This will be our perfect introduction to Nepal’s deep religious roots. The next morning, we will drive through the riverbed of the Trishuli and Seti Rivers alongside the terraced fields and valleys. We will again catch a short 15-minute flight over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges to reach Jomsom, Mustang, which is known as a settlement beyond the Himalayas. 

Our journey continues with a drive through the rugged Kali Gandaki Valley to reach Muktinath Temple, which is situated at an elevation of 3800m. We can purify ourselves with the sacred 108 water spouts and see the eternal flame that has been burning for centuries. We will pay our prayers and offerings in Muktinath, enjoy the picturesque view of the Himalayas around Muktinath, and return to Jomsom. The fly back to Pokhara, where we will explore more of the turquoise site of Fewa Lake, Davi’s Fall, and Gupteshwor Gufa for a unique blend of experience.

    Upon landing in Nepal’s vibrant capital, Kathmandu, a representative from our team will warmly greet you at Tribhuwan International Airport and escort you to your hotel. You will get refreshed and rejuvenated first, and in the evening we will take you to the sacred visit of Pashupatinath temple. Pashupatinath Temple is one of the holiest Hindu temples in Nepal, revered by millions of Nepali and Indian Hindus every year. We will witness the holy chant in Aarati and glowing lamps, creating an unforgettable experience

  • Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (827m) – 6 Hours

    Following an early morning breakfast, we set off on a picturesque drive to Pokhara. This 6-hour drive will take us through the riverbed of the Trshuli and Seti Rivers. This journey will offer us the panoramic beauty of lush hills and terraced fields in a serene setting on the lap of the hills. When we arrive in Pokhara, we will check into a hotel and enjoy some leisure time. Pokhara is a peaceful city that is mainly known for its tranquil and turquoise lakes. We have an opportunity of soaking in the serene setting in the evening.

  • Day 03: Fly to Jomsom (2,720m) | 15-minute Flight | Drive to Muktinath (3,800m) – Return to Jomsom

    This will be a short and scenic flight from Pokhara to Jomsom from Pokhara airport. Jomsom is a gateway for Mustang and offers a unique blend of natural beauty with cultural heritage. This sacred pilgrimage site is revered by both Hindus and Buddhists. We will have a drive to Muktinath Temple today. We will pay homage to the site of Muktinath and return to Jomsom for an overnight stay.

  • Day 04: Fly Back to Pokhara (827m) | 15-minute Flight | Pokhara City Tour

    We will take a short morning flight again, retracing the route towards Pokhara. After checking in and refreshing, we will begin a guided city tour that covers major attractions like Devi’s Fall, Gupteshwor Cave, and Bindabasini Temple alongside the serene Phewa Lake. We will get to enjoy a peaceful boat ride and soak in the beautiful views of Annapurna that reflect on the water.

    This day will be our last day of this tour before we head back to our final departure. We will retrace our routes along the Prithvi Highway. The evening in Kathmandu is leisurely. We can enjoy the last-minute shopping or get involved in a traditional Nepali dinner.

    The drinking water during the tour is available in any form: bottled, filtered, or boiled water. We recommend avoiding tap water, especially when you are a foreigner. Mineral water will be available in most locations, so using that will be fine for drinking.
  • 2. What kind of food can I expect?

    There will be a variety of meals that include dal bhat, noodles, soups, and bread rice dishes. Some international options in cities will be available. We recommend having vegetarian meals while being in Jomsom for pilgrim purposes.
  • 3. Do I need to give tips to guides and drivers?

    Tipping is highly appreciated and expected in Nepal, especially during trekking and tours for their appreciation. The guides and drivers get good pay for their work, yet around a 300-500 per day tip for guides is common during Nepal tours.
  • 4. Are there specific dress codes to follow?

    There isn’t any specific regulation of dress codes to follow, but it is advised to wear clothes that cover shoulders and knees when being in the pilgrim sites.     Cash machines(ATMs) are widely accessible in Kathmandu, Pokhara, JOmsom and Muktinath. However, money exchange services are limited to Kathmandu and Pokhara only. We recommend that you carry NPR cash or have an ATM with yourselves.
  • 9. Can I perform puja or rituals at Muktinath?

    Yes, you can do puja and rituals in Muktinath freely. Temple priests are present to guide devotees through straightforward rituals and ceremonies. You can also offer some donations for priests after putting on tika on your forehead.
