Departing from the bustling city of Kathmandu, the route winds through Trishuli Bazaar, Betrawati and finally reaches the vibrant town of Dhunche. Travelers are treated to stunning views of terraced fields, quaint villages, and lush forests along the way, with glimpses of the Trishuli River and the snow capped Himalayan peaks. Despite a duration of about 6-7 hours due to road conditions and potential traffic, the journey promises an immersive experience of Nepal's diverse landscapes and cultural heritage. After morning breakfast, your trek starts from the town of Dunche, which is the main town in the Rasuwa district and the gateway to the Langtang National Park. The trek usually take around 5-6 hours to complete based on your pace snd trail conditions. Along the way you will be pass by traditional Nepalese villages, interact with locals, and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Chandan bari is known for its beautiful Sing Gompa monastery where you can experience a sense of peace and spirituality. Upon arrival at Chandan Bari, you will stay at teahouse or lodge at Chandan Bari.
After having morning breakfast, start trekking from Chandan Bari to Gosainkunda which takes approximately 7 hours depending on your pace and trail conditions. The trek involves steep ascents and descents, passing through lush forests, open meadows and rugged terrain. Along the way, you will be treated to stunning views of the Himalayan Mountains, including Langtang Lirung and Ganesh Himal ranges. After having morning breakfast, get ready to drive from Dhunche to Kathmandu that will offers breathtaking views of Himalayan mountains, terraced hillsides and traditional Nepalese villages. Take your time to enjoy the scenic beauty along the way. Upon arrival at Kathmandu, you will depart to your onward destination.
