Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel

    After arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transfer to hotel for check in. Get some rest. Depending on your arrival time, you may have some free time to explore the city. You can visit nearby attractions, enjoy local cuisine or simply walk around the neighbourhood to get a feel for Kathmandu. Overnight at the Kathmandu hotel.

  • Day 02: Drive to Syabrubesi (1462 m) by jeep.-7-8 hours’

    After breakfast, drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi by jeep. The distance between Kathmandu and Syabrubesi is approximately 120 km and the journey can take anywhere from 7 to 9 hours depending on road conditions, traffic and weather conditions. The road can be rough and bumpy in certain sections. The drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi offers stunning views of the Himalayan landscapes, lush valleys and traditional villages. After reaching at Syabrubesi you will spend night over teahouse in Syabrubesi.

  • Day 03: Trek begins: Syabrubesi to Gatlang (2,200m/7,218ft)-5 hrs

    Starting from Syabrubesi, the trek gradually ascends to the picturesque village of Gatlang at around 2,200 meters. The trek which typically take around 5 hours offers stunning views of snow capped Himalayas and an opportunity to immerse yourself in the local way of life. There are basic teahouses and lodges available in Gatlang for overnight to stay.

  • Day 04: Gatlang to Tatopani (2,607m/8,554ft)-6-7 hrs

    After morning breakfast, start your trek from the traditional village of Gatlang where you will trek through lush forests, terraced fields, and charming villages along the way. The route descends towards the natural hot springs of Tatopani that offers a well-deserved rest and relaxation. This trek can take around 6-7 hours depending on your pace and stops along the trails. You can enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding mountains, interact with the local communities and refresh your body in the soothing hot springs of Tatopani. Overnight at teahouse in Tatopani.

  • Day 05: Tatopani to Thuman via Brimdang and Nagthali (2,400m/7,874ft)-6 hrs

    From Tatopani, you will ascend towards Brimdang where you will passes through forests and terraced fields with stunning mountain views along the way. Brimdang is a small village that offers a glimpse into the local way of life and hospitality. Continuing on the trail, you will trek to Nagthali, a picturesque viewpoint known for its panoramic views of the Langtang range. Take a moment to soak in the breathtaking scenery before descending towards the village of Thuman. Upon arrival at Thuman, a traditional Tamang village with a rich cultural heritage where you can interact with the friendly locals and learn about their unique traditionals and customs and explore the charming village. Overnight at Thuman.

  • Day 06: Thuman to Briddim (2,345m/7,694ft)-6 hrs

    Starting from the traditional Tamang village of Thuman, you will trek along well-trodden paths that offer stunning views of the Himalayas and lush forests. Continue on your trek, you will trek towards Briddim which is famous for its traditional Tamang homestay, where you can experiene the warm hospitality of locals and learn about their customs and way of life. Upon reaching at Briddim, take some time to explore the village, visit local monastery and savor the authentic Tamang cuisine. Overnight at Briddim.

  • Day 07: Briddim to Syabrubesi (1,550m/5,086ft)-5 hrs

    Leaving Briddim behind, you will descend through forests and terraced fields passing through quaint villages and enjoying the tranquility of the natural environment. As you continue your trek towards Syabrubesi, you will encounter diverse terrain and captivating scenery with the mighty Langtang mountain range as a backdrop. Upon arrival at Syabrubesi, take some time to relax, unwind and reflect on your trekking experience. Overnight stay at Syabrubesi.

  • Day 08: Drive to Kathmandu (1,350m/4,429ft)

    After having morning breakfast you will drive to Kathmandu that typically takes several hours, depending on road conditions and traffic. Enjoy the panoramic views of the valley. Upon arrival at Kathmandu. Check in at the hotel, get some rest. At night go for a street walk. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 09: Departure to onward destination

    After breakfast, pack all of your belongings and get ready for departure to onward destination.
