Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrival/ Transfer to hotel & trek preparation

    You will arrive in the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu, on your first day via Tribhuwan International Airport. You will be welcomed by one of our staff and directly transferred to your hotel for refreshments. Later in the evening, we will prepare the last-minute trekking preps, and we will brief you on how we will travel through this trek.

  • Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Manthali and to Lukla (Flight) and trek to Phakding (L,D)

    Early in the morning, drive from Kathmandu to Manthali. A drive from Kathmandu to Manthali will take around 4 hours approximately. After reaching Manthali airport wait for the airlines to board. After completing check in formalities and issuing boarding pass proceed to airline for a flight to Lukla. A flight will take 20 minutes where you can enjoy the stunning views of the Himalayas including Mount Everest as you fly over the rugged terrain of the Himalayan foothills. Upon arrival at Lukla, trekkers will begin their trek by descending from Lukla towards Phakding. The trail passes through picturesque Sherpa Villages, prayer flags, and mini walls. Along the way, you will cross suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River and enjoy the stunning views of mountains. Overnight at Phakding teahouse.

  • Day 03: Trek Phakding to Namche Bazaar (B,L,D)

    After breakfast, start your trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar. During your trek you will pass through dense forests of pine and rhododendron. As you approach Namche Bazaar you will catch your first glimpse of Mount Everest and the surrounding Himalayan range. Upon arrival at Namche Bazaar which is the largest town in the Everest region and serves as a hub for trekkers, offering variety of amenities. You will stay overnight at Namche Bazaar.

  • Day 04: Acclimatization day (hike upto Khumjung o/n at Khumjung (B,L,D)

    Start your day by having delicious breakfast. This day you will stay at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization before continuing your trek to higher altitudes. During the acclimatization day, you can explore the town, visit local market, visit Sherpa culture museum, hike upto Khumjung. Overnight at Khumjung.

  • Day 05: Trek Khumjung to Dole (B,L,D)

    After breakfast, your trekking starts from Khumjung to Dole. You will ascend gradually towards Mong La Pass, passing through yak pastures and rhododendron forests. Mong La Pass offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, including Mt Everest and Thamserku. It's a great place to take a rest and enjoy the views before continuing your trek to Dole. After arriving at Dole, you can explore the Dole village. Overnight at the Dole.

  • Day 06: Trek Dole to Machhermo (B,L,D)

    After breakfast, your trek start from Dole to Luza, passing through yak pastures and juniper forests. Luza is a small settlement with a few teahouse where you can take a break and refuel before continuing your trek. The trail from Luza to Machhermo involves ascending and descending through alpine landscapes. Machhermo is a tranquil village nestled in the mountains, offering breathtaking views of Cho Oyu and other himalayan giants. Upon arrival at Machhermo explore the village. Overnight at the Machhermo.

  • Day 07: Trek Machhermo to Gokyo - Afternoon hike to Gokyo (B,L,D)

    Early in the molrning after having breakfast, start your trek from Machhermo to Gokyo. Starting from the charming village of Macchermo you will traverse rocky paths and descend to Luza before reaching Gokyo, nestled beside the breathtaking Gokyo Lake. Along the way you will witness the grandeur of the Ngozumpa Glacier, soak in a beauty of Gokyo Lakes, and summit Gokyo Ri for sweeping vistas of the entire valley. Overnight at Gokyo.

  • Day 08: Trek Gokyo to Thagnak - Morning hike to Gokyo 4th Lake (B,L,D)

    After morning breakfast, start your trekking from Gokyo to Thagnak which is a scenic and serene journey in the Everest region of Nepal. Setting out from the picturesque village of Gokyo, situated near the shimmering Gokyo lakes, you will follow a trail that meanders through high altitude landscapes adorned with rugged mountains and glacial vistas. As you trek towards Thagnak, you will pass by the mesmerizing Ngozumpa Glacier offering a glimpse into the raw beauty of the Himalayas. The route presents awe-inspiring views of towering peaks such as Cho Oyu and Everest providing a backdrop of unparalleled natural splender. Overnight at Thagnak.

  • Day 09: Trek Thagnak to Dzongla via CholaPass (B,L,D)

    Early in the morning, start you’re trekking from Thagnak to Dzongla via Chola Pass which is the challenging yet rewarding journey in the Everest region of Nepal. Setting out from Thagnak, you will embark on the steep ascend towards Cho La Pass. The trail to Cho La Pass is rugged and demanding especially during the winter months. You will encounter the stunning views of towering peaks including Ama Dablam, snd Cholatse. Upon crossing the pass, the descent towards Dzongla offers a change in scenery with its tranquil surroundings and picturesque landscapes providing a welcome respite after the challenging crossing of Chola. Overnight at Dzongla.

  • Day 10: Dzongla to Gorekshep (B,L,D)

    After having breakfast, starting from Dzongla you will trek through a rugged terrain with rocky paths and occasional streams. The trail offers breathtaking views of peak as you make your way towards Lobuche. From Lobuche, the trail continues towards Gorakshep, the last settlement before reaching Everest Base Camp. Upon reaching Gorekshep, you will be greeted by the iconic sight of kalapathar and mesmerizing view of Mount Everest. Overnight at Gorekshep.

  • Day 11: Morning hike to Kalapathar, Hike to EBC,descend to Pheriche (B,L,D)

    Early in the morning, start hike to Kala Pathar which offers a breathtaking view of sunrise and peaks in a golden hue. After that you will trek to Everest Base Camp. Descending from EBC the trek back to Pheriche traverses rocky terrain and scenic landscapes offering a chance to reflect on the awe-inspiring journey while enjoying the serene beauty of the Himalayan region. Overnight at Pheriche.

  • Day 12 Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (B,L,D)

    Your trekking start from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar which is a rewarding journey that takes you through varied landscapes and charming villages in the Everest region of Nepal. Starting from Pheriche to Tengboche where you will descend through lush forest and picturesque hamlets to reach Namche Bazaar the bustling trading hub of the Khumbu region. As you reach at Namche Bazaar, you can explore the vibrant markets. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.

  • Day 13: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (B,L,D)

    Trekking from Namche Bazaar to Lukla marks the end of your Everest region trek in Nepal. The trail from Namche Bazaar to Lukla is a mixture of ups and downs, passing through charming Sherpa villages, rhododendron forests and crossing numerous suspension bridges over Dudh Koshi River. Upon reaching Lukla, you will stay overnight at Lukla.

  • Day 14: Flight to Manthali and drive to Kathmandu(B)

    Today, you fly from Lukla to Manthali and drive back to Kathmandu. A flight from Lukla to Manthali is about 20 minutes. Evening arrival at hotel in Kathmandu and transfer to your confirmed Hotel with BB Plan accommodation. Overnight at Kathmandu.

  • Day 15: Final farewell and airport transfer for your flight home.

    We will have a farewell breakfast in Kathmandu while reflecting to our incredible trek. Depending on our flight schedule we might find time for shopping or sightseeing around the Kathmandu Valley. We will meet next time, safe travels!
