DAY 01: ARRIVAL TO KATHMANDU AND TRANSFER TO HOTEL.
On the main arrival at Kathmandu also the only Nepal international airport where you will be received by All Nepal Treks and Excursion staff and guides for a short drive to your hotel in the hub of Kathmandu city around the most exciting area in Thamel.
On checking your rooms, getting refreshed, join with other trekkers for a briefing provided by our guide or leader. In the evening enjoy group dinner in a nice and authentic Nepalese restaurant with a live cultural program to make you entertained with dinner. -
DAY 02: FULL DAY KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING AND TREK PREPARATION.
On this day after having breakfast, we start a guided tour to a few of the most historical and spiritual attractions. Some of these are known as World Heritage Sites including Durbar Square, the renowned Hindu temple of PashupatiNath, popular 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhunath) and Boudhanath, Buddhist shrine which is one of the largest stupas in the world. At noon, we will do a trip discussion where you can meet our trek leader and remaining team members then Overnight in Kathmandu. Provided meals- Breakfast only.

DAY 03: DRIVE TO DHUNCHE.
Morning drive towards the north of Kathmandu valley, the journey continues on the winding road past many farm villages and towns within warm areas of Trishuli and Nuwakot district.
The trip continues on the uphill winding road reaching a cool place in Dhunche town for a night stop. A headquarters and Administrative town of Rasuwa within Langtang Himal. -
DAY 04: TREK TO SING GOMPA / CHANDANWARI.
From Dhunche for a while to reach a riverbank with a drive on a nice road, after crossing a bridge on a winding uphill path into the alpine forested area. As our climb leads adding more heights with facing views of Ganesh-Himal, Manaslu, Langtang and as far towards Annapurna range due west, after some refreshing stops on the route, the walk continues within farmlands then into the enchanting forest for a while, and then suddenly reaching a clearing at Sing Gompa for an overnight stop near its old monastery, this small village also called Chandanwari (means a place for sandal-wood tree).

DAY 05: TREK TO GOSAIKUNDA.
Start morning walk with the climb to higher ridge rewards you with views of Langtang towards the north with Ganesh-Himal north-west extends to Manaslu and Annapurna range in the far west direction, the walk continues entering into a forest and then soon leaving tree lines for a smaller rhododendron, juniper and alpine bushes on reach a scenic spot at Laurabinaya. The walk continues uphill past a few teahouses of Laurabinaya, which means a place of walking sticks. (inauspicious time of Hindu festival called Janai Purnima pilgrims visits in large numbers to Gosainkunda for a holy bath and as well for a dip in holy pond, believing it relinquishes a sin of a hundred lifetimes). This is where Hindu pilgrims leave their walking sticks hence the name ‘Laurabinaya’, after reaching a high hill and then short descend towards Saraswati and Bhairav Kund ponds, and then short climb to reach at Gosainkunda for overnights near its holy clear icy pond.

DAY 06: AT GOSAIKUNDA FOR A LOCAL HIKE AROUND HOLY POND AND SCENIC VIEWPOINT HILLS.
Rest day at holy Gosainkunda within a lovely spot surrounded by high rocky cliffs and tiers of green hills, with optional walks around this beautiful location, in the month of August ‘Janai Purnima Is a religious festival that takes place once a year as per the Hindu Lunar calendar.
A great number of Hindu pilgrims visit during wet months of monsoon season, where Hindu followers and devotees reach here to worship Lord Shiva (one of the main three Hindu Gods), and for a dip in a holy icy pond. The belief is that it washes the sin of hundreds of lifetimes, where Hindu followers change their sacred thread, every year on this day. -
DAY 07: TREK TO SING GOMPA.
After a beautiful time with deep spiritual feeling along with panoramic views, in the morning after breakfast we walk down and up to Laurabinaya hilltop, which offers tremendous views of surrounding landscapes and peaks of Manaslu-Ganesh and Langtang Himal.
The walk leads back on a long descent reaching back into a forested area and then at Sing Gompa for an overnight stop. -
DAY 08: TREK BACK TO DHUNCHE TOWN.
A leisure day along with a long downhill with the pleasant cool shade of woodland then past few cattle herders also hurts to reach at the bottom of a hill near a small bridge with few shops and local tea-houses.
From here on an easy trail reaching at the motorable road with a short winding climb to reach at the hotel or lodge in Dhunche town, for the last overnight we stop around Langtang within the land of Tamang people. -
DAY 09: DRIVE TO KATHMANDU THEN TRANSFER TO HOTEL.
Morning from Dhunche town where the exciting overland journey takes you back to Kathmandu on route observes Nepalese country life as drive leads past farm villages and towns to reach Kathmandu in afternoon time, rest of the time of the day free for individual activities and shopping.
DAY 10: INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURE TO RESPECTIVE COUNTRIES HOMEWARD BOUND.
Last day in the country of world highest mountains, Everest and grateful cultures, as per your schedule for international flight check out from the hotel, where All Nepal Excursion staff and guide transfers you to the airport, with grand experience and beautiful memories of Holy Gosaikunda Trekking.

Gosaikunda Lake Trek is one of the magnificent trekking trails for all the trekkers, which is situated by the snow-covered Himalayas. Gosaikunda lake was derived or derived to have been created by lord Shiva when he thrust his Trishul (Trident) into a mountain to extract water to calm over his poisoning throat. Various Hindu scriptures refer to Samundra Manthan, which is directly related to the origin of Gosaikunda. The lake is believed to have been created by Lord Shiva when he thrust his trident into a mountain to extract water so that he could cool his burning throat after swallowing poison during Samundra Manthan. The Holi Gosaikunda is in Nepal, at an altitude over 4380 meters above the sea level, Gosaikunda believed to have been created by the Trishul of Lord Shiva.
Holy Gosaikunda Lake Trekking takes you to a famous pilgrimage spot where once a year a great festival event is held, an important pilgrimage destination for Hindu and as well for some Buddhist Followers which are especially visited by large numbers of people during the full moon in the month of August. There is also the same festive moment when many shamans are gathered to show their shamanism rituals so as to claim rights traditionally. As we all know that Lord Shiva had created this holy lake when he pierced a glacier with his trident weapon Trisul(trident) to obtain water to quench his thirst after swallowing poison. Around Gosaikunda lake, there are other beautiful lakes Bhairabkunda, Suryakunda, sarswotikunda and Nagarkunda which are worth observing and enjoy the scenarios as well. The Holy Gosaikunda lake has a black rock in the middle which is considered to be the head of Lord Shiva and white rock under the water that is said to be the scenario as well. This is a sacred pilgrimage journey to find out your inner peace and satisfy the soul to the holy lake and pristine nature. This trip leads to a climb into enchanting serene woodlands of tall rhododendron-magnolia-pines and oaks tree lines, an elusive and rare panda seldom seen around this deeply forested area. Our walk finally leads to Gosaikunda after walking past singh gompa and lauribina rides.
Best season from March to May and Autumn September to November is one of the best seasons for Langtang Gosaikunda Lake Trek. The Climate is sunny and warm with brilliant views. If you wish to avoid crowds and enjoy some alone time with nature then taking this trip during the winter season ( December, January and February) are also good and could be an option for this trip.
